Our studio is absolutely ideal for small webcasting/broadcasting events as we are connected directly to web streaming specialists IFDNRG in house with a 2.5MBps up speed to servers all over the world.
We converted this section of our office space into a studio a few years ago mainly for broadcasting elements of the Nexus Live show. However it has been used since in many different capacities for instance live debates between writers in the UK and America, music promo shoots, drama productions and vodcasts.
We have a DMX controlled overhead LED system as well as reds, blondes, kino and many other useful pieces of photography and film lighting, video and sound equipment. All the camera points are connected via BNC to both the vision mixing desks and the live encoder servers themselves.
Working in this environment gives us a distinct edge in the provision of web based video, animation and live broadcast facilities both in house and on location.
Working on a live broadcast show for many years has given us access to one of the best pools of talent in the country and we draw our crew from the kind of team who can operate well under pressure in a live environment.
We regularly work closely with specialised audio engineers, lighting technicians and camera crew to ensure you have the best possible team on hand for the job.
There's no point and shoot service, we work closely with the client and the venue in the run up to the event to ensure a slick production as well as in post when offline edits are required.

We've featured loads of bands and artists on our show over the years. Nexus has played a bit part in supporting local music and promoting up and coming acts as well as art, poetry and cutting edge debates.
The studio has been great for compositing work as you can see in this split screen; we have a ceiling height photography backdrop roller and portable green screens which make effects shoots in a controlled environment a breeze.
Although on hiatus at the moment all that’s needed to live webcast or shoot your gig or event for offline edit is in place.
